NASHVILLE, TN & GETTYSBURG, PA (September 21, 2026) — Qualifacts, a leading technology partner for behavioral health and human services organizations specializing in AI-powered electronic health record (EHR) and data solutions, has named CenterPointe the winner of the 2026 Community Impact Through Innovation Award. The award will be presented at the 2026 OPEN MINDS Technology & Analytics Institute in Philadelphia, PA.
The annual award recognizes organizations using technology, data, automation, interoperability, analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and operational innovation to improve consumer experiences, deliver measurable outcomes, and create meaningful community impact across behavioral health and human services.
CenterPointe was selected for its Life Worth Living Pathway, which uses the Qualifacts Credible EHR, real-time dashboards, automated workflows, and custom analytics to strengthen suicide prevention and clinical oversight. The initiative increased Same-Day Suicide Risk Assessment completion from 54.0% to 81.5%, Safety Plan completion from 70.0% to 96.2%, and Counseling on Access to Lethal Means completion from 71.0% to 98.3%.
By embedding suicide prevention practices into routine clinical workflows and using real-time data to support accountability and continuous improvement, CenterPointe has developed a scalable approach that extends beyond individual interventions. The initiative demonstrates how technology and operational redesign can strengthen quality of care and safety while creating a model that can be applied more broadly across behavioral health services.
“Each year this award reminds us that innovation in behavioral health is measured by what improves outcomes at the point of care. CenterPointe made suicide prevention a consistent part of care rather than a case-by-case decision, and they used their data to prove it works. That’s what the technology is for: giving teams the visibility and the workflows to sustain work like this, and to keep raising the bar for what the field can deliver,” said Josh Schoeller, Chief Executive Officer at Qualifacts.
Christian Children’s Home of Ohio (CCHO) was also recognized as this year’s runner-up for pairing the Qualifacts Client Engagement Suite with iQ Clinical Documentation to strengthen both consumer access and clinician capacity. Through the use of Qualifacts’ Client Engagement Suite, CCHO has consolidated intake, scheduling, payments, and virtual care into a single experience, completing more than 23,000 telehealth appointments. With Qualifacts iQ, CCHO clinicians save an average of 15 minutes per service document, equating to as much as five hours per week returned to direct client care.
The Community Impact Through Innovation Award recognizes behavioral health and human service organizations applying technology and operational innovation to address real-world challenges and produce measurable results. OPEN MINDS and Qualifacts recognize this year’s honorees and applicants for their work to strengthen care delivery and advance performance across the field.
