CareLogic™ Opiate Treatment Program
The CareLogicOTP module, offers a web-based solution for dispensing/tracking of medications to assist in the stabilization of those addicted to opioids and tracks payments and account balances. CareLogic OTP controls local devices (pumps, receipt printers, bar code scanners and log printers).
CareLogic OTP includes functionality to operate all aspects of your clinic including:
- Fail-over functionality enables dispensing to continue in the event of an interruption in internet connectivity
- Barcode scanner support for inventory control and dispensing of pre-poured take-home doses
- Integrated client messaging support (i.e. physician requests to see the patient prior to dispensing)
- Integrated client dashboard offers single source for demographics, messages for the patient, financial information, patient alerts, and patient schedule
- Alerts functionality alerts front desk or dispensing nurse of scheduled labs and expiring orders
- Reporting identifies inventory on hand, medications dispensed during the day, spills, and destructions
- Random urinalysis functionality
- Alerts for random urinalysis, scheduled labs and inspection of patients take-home box
- Financial tracking of patient balances, co-pays, and insurance payments
- Face dosing functionality for standard dispensing, take-ups, take-downs, reverses, and spills
- Take-home functionality supports batch processing for clinics that require pharmacists to pre-pour take-home doses or for take-home doses to be dispensed upon patient arrival
- Workflow for clinics with/without a “front desk”
- Bottle return workflow integrated into the application to verify return of take-home bottles
