Behavioral Healthcare Partners of Central Ohio (BHPCO) went “live” on the Qualifacts CareLogic EHR and billing system on July 1 after a seven-month implementation involving 180 users – many of them remote – over five locations. With their new system in place, BHPCO is looking forward especially to the documentation efficiencies to be gained by the use of the web-based CareLogic.

“CareLogic provides our community-based staff a better opportunity to do concurrent documentation from the field via mobile devices. It’s a real time-saver, and the employees who have tried it so far really like that functionality.

“We have all been busy and working hard to successfully complete the project and some of our departments were very proactive in the lead up to the go live. In particular, the support staff in our Mt. Vernon office really took it upon themselves to practice and to work through their processes to make sure they were ready. Overall, our users are adapting well to the change, and we often hear that the software is intuitive and much easier to use than our old system.”
