Qualifacts Adds First Arizona Customer

 NASHVILLE, Tenn., June 8, 2010 – NOVA, Inc., has selected Qualifacts Systems, Inc., to provide an integrated Electronic Health Record (EHR) and billing solution for the agency’s outpatient behavioral health program, located in Glendale, Ariz. NOVA is Qualifacts’ first Arizona customer.   

NOVA is a not-for-profit, community-based organization that operates outpatient programs for adults, a residential treatment program for adults and a Safe Haven program. When Steve Carter, chief executive officer for NOVA, decided to forego their existing scheduling program, he knew the time was right to move forward with a full EHR implementation.

“EHRs are an important part of the future of healthcare,” says Carter. “The system transformations that are a part of the health information technology planning process and the federal healthcare legislation recently passed make it imperative that behavioral health providers prepare for an EHR if they have not already done so.”
