Demonstration of CareLogicNOVA is a not-for-profit, community-based organization that operates outpatient programs for adults, a residential treatment program for adults and a Safe Haven program. When Steve Carter, chief executive officer for NOVA, decided to forego their existing scheduling program, he knew the time was right to move forward with a full EHR implementation.
“EHRs are an important part of the future of healthcare,” says Carter. “The system transformations that are a part of the health information technology planning process and the federal healthcare legislation recently passed make it imperative that behavioral health providers prepare for an EHR if they have not already done so.”
Carter adds that when Qualifacts came into the picture, their clinical director in particular was very pleased to find a company that appreciates the intricacies of behavioral health.
“We are excited NOVA is the first Arizona provider to implement Qualifacts’ CareLogic™ EHR system,” says David Klements, CEO for Qualifacts. “We look forward to delivering another successful project.”
