"We have completed our first in-house training on eRx-the software is spectacular! Easy, intuitive and even my least technical MD's could use it the very first time they tried it because the software is so very intuitive. Thanks!"

NASHVILLE, TN – Qualifacts Systems Inc., announces the Barber National Institute (BNI) as the company’s eighth Pennsylvania provider.  BNI, with more than 2,000 employees and an annual budget in excess of $62 Million is one of Pennsylvania’s leading providers of residential, adult, education, and clinical services and support to individuals with developmental delays and learning disabilities, their families, as well as professionals in the disabilities field.

BNI’s size and complexity necessitated an extremely thorough software evaluation process. “As part of our analysis, the evaluation team considered qualitative factors regarding the structure and stability of the various vendors in addition to the actual product,” according to Jim Merski, the BNI’s Chief Financial Officer, “The Barber team found that Qualifacts’ experience with large providers, the professionalism of their staff and a solid track record of success made Qualifacts the best match for us.”

Qualifacts’ CareLogic™ EHR will support BNI’s goals of helping clinicians attain higher levels of productivity by helping manage the intake and scheduling processes as well as simplifying billing processes.  ”We expect that reporting for our programs, service lines and enterprise-wide should also improve” Merski added, “Our clinicians are especially looking forward to the increase in efficiencies by accessing and inputting schedules and clinical data into the EHR system via portable web-based technology.”

BNI saw the need to transition to an Electronic Health Record as critical to the operation of their programs and business processes. “The ability to partner with an EHR vendor who is on the leading edge will be a long-term competitive advantage for BNI in dealing with payers, providers and regulators,” added Merski, “This will translate into tangible results for the individuals we serve when all clinicians and direct service staff are working with the same client information from a single health record.”
