"We have completed our first in-house training on eRx-the software is spectacular! Easy, intuitive and even my least technical MD's could use it the very first time they tried it because the software is so very intuitive. Thanks!"

Qualifacts Enhances Electronic Health Record for Remote Workers

NASHVILLE, TN – Qualifacts Systems, Inc. today announced the upcoming release of new, innovative mobile Electronic Health Record functionality that continues to demonstrate the company's ongoing commitment to improving the lives of its customers. The new offerings support the ability for clinicians to securely schedule and record services, and complete service documentation within CareLogic™ while disconnected from the Internet and then synchronize their work when they reconnect to CareLogic™ .

According to Brent Burgess, Chief Information Officer of Huntington, West Virginia’s Prestera Center, “Qualifacts solution will allow our community-based staff, which often care for clients in rural areas where Internet connectivity may be unreliable or unavailable, to get the full benefit of an EHR. One of the drivers for Prestera Center to move away from a legacy client-server EHR system to Qualifacts’ SaaS solution was enabling our workforce to perform concurrent clinical documentation. Qualifacts' commitment to industry leading mobile solutions was a key part of our decision to select CareLogic as our enterprise system”.

“CareLogic is web-based, so our customers have always had access to their full EHR wherever Internet access was available”, said, David Klements, President and CEO of Qualifacts. “However, as service delivery changes and more care is delivered in the field, at schools, and in homes, we understand that providers need the capability to extend the reach of the EHR. Our CareLogic product roadmap, which includes significant plans for new mobile solutions, ensures our customers’ success through these changes.”

“Offline Synchronization will make those delivering care more productive and efficient because they can work anytime, anywhere irrespective of connectivity,” said Gregg Boyle, Chief Technology Officer for Qualifacts. “By providing a seamless experience with remote information, Offline Synchronization enables users to conveniently access and manage tasks, activities, and accounts wherever, whenever. This functionality can have a positive impact on the performance and profitability of an organization by providing easy access to information and increasing user adoption rates—a major road block for on-premise software applications.”

Added Burgess, “Prestera anticipates gaining as much as eight hours per therapist per week in increased productivity by enabling Offline Synchronization for our community-based workers”.
